Location information is particularly important--If you do not have an address you can also map to the closest cross street or intersection, add more detail in Area of Location and the notes section as necessary.

Take down the caller’s contact and location information, then alert the EOC shift leader so they can deliver the information immediately to the Fire Department. Once you have their information, strongly advise them to leave the location IMMEDIATELY. Tell them not to turn any lights on or off or do anything else on the way out that may cause a spark. Tell them to hang up and dial 911. Start logging the call into WebEOC.

If people are donating items on pallets or have a group that wants to volunteer, refer them to Volunteerflorida.org , or 1-800-354-3571.

If people want to volunteer search and rescue groups, police or fire department assistance, refer them to the State EOC at 1-800-342-3557.
